Executive Event - Renewable energy: market trends, the planning process and tools to support the management control system

The event, organized by Reply Consulting and Oracle, with the involvement of the Politecnico di Milano, was a unique opportunity to learn more about the state of models and solutions for strategic and operational planning for companies of the renewable energy sector. The meeting is a moment for discussions and sharing of trends, strategies and business opportunities in this market.

To maximize performance in a quickly changing market, both in normative and in technology terms, firms need tools, organizational as well as informative, to evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and sustainability of the identified strategy. In particular:

  • Financial planning, with focus on the management of cash flows and leverage.
  • The definition of Key Performance Indicators, in order to monitor the main financial and economic elements of the investment initiatives, as well as parameters useful for the optimization of phases as procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of plants.
  • The document management, to meet regulatory obligations and to help a ordered management of the process along the whole chain.
